Supporting Gala
Dear Friends of Carnoustie Gala Committee,
Carnoustie Gala Committee was established to socially enhance the community
of Carnoustie and District and in the process raise funds that are then distributed
to local clubs, associations etc. We are a non-sponsored and a non-profit
making organisation and all monies raised are through the endeavours and events
we hold throughout the year.
Although Carnoustie Gala is going from strength to strength each
year we need your support to maintain this momentum.
May we therefore take this opportunity to highlight that we hold various competitions
and events throughout the year and to encourage you to take part in these
competitions/events, thus enabling the committee to continue raising funds
that are then distributed to local clubs, associations etc. We would like
you to consider supporting the following,
Gala Day Parade:- Junior/Senior Floats, Walking Floats (all ages),
Fun Cars, Vintage Tractors, anything considered.
Gala Day Arena:- Stalls, Displays, Dog Show, Competitions.
Gala Week:-Songs of Praise, Pool, Darts, Junior and Senior Putting, Quiz Night,
Folk Night.
Competitions and Events throughout the year:-Quiz Nights, Junior Football,
Junior Discos, Can U Spot It, Sunflower Competition, Torchlight Parade, Guy
Fawkes Competition.
We also have ad hoc events throughout the year so please see press
and posters for details and of course our web site.
You can also support Carnoustie Gala with donations, prizes etc.
We are always looking for people to help with the above events and
you can either become a Committee Member or be a Friend of the Committee.
